Thank you for choosing to book with Ocean Garden Capbreton. We look forward to welcoming you. By making this booking you are entering an agreement with us, so please read our terms and conditions of booking below.
The price includes accommodation, linen, towels and Continental breakfast. Vegetarians are welcome but we must know your requirements prior to arrival.
Booking Confirmation & Deposit:
To book the entire Villa a deposit of 800€ is required.
Long-term bookings at our Bed & Breakfast require a deposit as well which has to be discussed individually and which may differ from case to case.
All bookings by email are confirmed by email or text message.
Cancellation of booking
By making your booking with us you agree to a legal contract and to our terms and conditions.
Should your travel arrangements change for any kind of reason, we ask you to inform us as soon as possible to allow us to re-allocate the room(s).
Notice of cancellation from your side: please cancel with a 14 days’ notice in order to not being charged. However, if you fail to notify us after this period a full payment will be due.
If you need to cancel the booking due to exceptional family circumstances, we are happy to transfer your booking to another date if at all possible, in case the reason should be acceptable.
Payment should be made on arrival either by cash payment or cheque supported by a current cheque guarantee card. You can also make a bank transfer prior to your stay. We do not accept credit/debit cards.
Non-availability of Accommodation
We would only cancel your stay if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however attempt to find you an alternative accommodation. In case we would be unable to find suitable accommodation our liability would not extend beyond this point.
Sorry, under no circumstances do we allow pets inside the house or on the property.
Acceptance of Children
Children are welcome in our Bed & Breakfast. We can accommodate for young babies and by prior arrangement and free of charge, we will provide a highchair and a travel cot; however, we do ask you to provide all of the bedding for the cot.
Your accommodation will be available from 4:00pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. We may not be able to accommodate you if you arrive earlier than the agreed time as we will be busy preparing your rooms. However, you may drop off your bags and pay for your stay at an earlier time by prior arrangement.
It is much appreciated if you notify us of your estimated time of arrival (by SMS or via telephone call on the day before or the morning of arrival).
Late arrival procedure
Please ensure you contact us to let us know if you will be arriving later than 8.00pm, and inform us of your new estimated time of arrival. We do not normally accept guests after 10.00pm.
We respectfully remind guests that Ocean Garden Capbreton offers bed and breakfast and is NOT a hotel, therefore:
Please vacate your room by 11.00am, unless otherwise arranged. The room will be ready for re-occupation from 4.00pm, unless otherwise arranged.
It is forbidden to have take away meals in the bedrooms as they can leave smells and cause staining when they get in contact with bedding or carpets etc. Please use our dining room or picnic area to eat your take away food.
Guests are not expected to stay in the room all day. Feel free to use our common spaces as well.
Smoking is forbidden in Ocean Garden Capbreton.
Smoking in the garden is accepted.
A fire alarm system is operating throughout the whole house and if it is set off by guests smoking anywhere in the house you will be asked to vacate the premises and forfeit any monies paid – this is non-negotiable.
Damages and Breakages
Please take care when staying in our home. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the house or its interior. Please immediately report any incidents when they occur. In general, we do not charge for minor breakages, but we may charge you for repair or compensation if the damage or breakage is significant.
Sports Gear Rental
You can rent Surfboards, wetsuits and bicycles with us. The prices are listed separately. During your rental you are responsible for the gear. If something gets stolen or breaks, we will charge you for replacing the good.
We do not assume liability for any damage, loss or injury which might happen to you or any member of your group including vehicles and personal possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment with us.
Any data collected during the course of this booking will be stored on our computer(s). With your permission we may contact you about promotions and offers from time to time. We will not share your details with any third party.
